Alibaug

Alibaug,150 kms from Pune is a beautiful beach.

Good place for one day trip.

Balaji temple ,Uma Maheshwar Temple, Kulaba fort (located 2kms inside sea and can go only during low tide)and other small beaches are places to visit.

Ganpatipule

Located in Ratnagiri District near Chiplun.

Bus facility is available from Swargate.

This mountain is in the shape of Ganapati and the temple is located at the bottom of this mountain.

Ganapati pule is famous for beach having view of beautiful sunset.

Guhagar

Located near Chiplun.

Beautiful place for nature lovers. Uffrata Ganapati Temple, Durgadevi temple, Vaidayshwar Temple are some of the places to see over here.

Shrivardhan

Beautiful picnic Spot with nice beaches and lots of temples.

Shri Laxminarayan Temple which is very old temple (Peshwas origin) and built in Hoyasal Style, is the main temple in Shri Vardhan. Other temples are Bhairav, Kusumdevi, Jivaneshwar, and Somjai.

Thoseghar Waterfalls

Located in Satara about 115km from Pune the place is well serviced by the Pune bus service and it takes about three hours drive to reach Satara, where visitors can hire a taxi to reach the Thoseghar falls

This is a wonderful place where one can enjoy the beauty of nature and view the rather loud waterfall and enjoy a picnic. The best season to visit Thoseghar is between July to November.

There are other falls in the area which are about 15-20 meters high and one of around 500 meters high.
